WORK
Inspired by the abundant natural beauty surrounding me at my home and studio, I create landscape and nature-inspired works on canvas, textile, wood or paper. Using leaves mostly scavenged from my acreage, I botanically print and dye textiles to create wearables, soft items for the home and wall art.
Oil and watercolor painting allow me to explore the incredible, ethereal light that floods my Pacific Northwest forest neighbourhood. In my series "Golden Hour", I depict day's end and the magical beauty it renders.
For as long as I can remember, the written word has been a source of nourishment for me. My poems are additional 'word paintings' that accompany my art into the world.
New and recent work will be featured in the upcoming Art Harvest Studio Tour of Yamhill County in October 2024.
