Golden Hour

These

long summer evenings

by the pond

glow like a

string of pearls

on a

sun-kissed neck.

Day

hangs her

golden robe

upon the

fragrant branch,

trails

pink fingers

through glassy water;

places gleaming rings

at our feet,

then

disappears

into the dark water.
